Face it, all the bands you listen to are nothing but generic clones of screamo bands from when I was in highschool, and while you're out getting a nautical star tattoo'd on your ass, my buddy Paul still kicks your ass because he got his before you even saw it on that t-shirt at Zumiez.

Two Gallants may not be making some space-age shit like Xiu Xiu, but at least you get the comfort of knowing that no one else is doing anything even close. Grandpa Jones has some shit on these guys, but he's dead.

Last night I went down to the Gilman to see Trainwreck Riders. Gilman kids are amazing because of their ability to take songs more suited for a hoedown, and turn them into slam anthems. I not only got my mouth fingered by one of my classmates' little sister in the commotion, but I've gotten the closest I've ever gotten to kissing a guy. After that I decided to not sing along and just keep my mouth shut.

Listening to their first CD might be detrimental to my health, because I've found that it makes me drive way too fast when it's dark and that shit uses up my gasoline way too fast.
